What are wavy K tip extensions?

Wavy k tip extensions are pre-bonded flat tip hair extensions with a wave pattern already set in the hair. K tip and flat tip are two names for the same bond. The flat tip is a thin, wide keratin bond that lies close to the head, so it hides well under fine or wavy natural hair. The stylist fuses each strand to a small section of the client’s hair with a heat connector, one bond at a time.

Our natural wave pattern is a loose, open S-wave, softer than body wave and much looser than deep wave. At 22 inches (about 55 cm) the hair falls just below the bust on most clients, which is the length where a wave looks full and relaxed rather than heavy. A 100 g bundle holds about 50 strands, so each strand carries roughly 2 g of hair.

Three grades, and how to pick

Every Govihair keratin length is made in three grades. The grade sets how much short hair is pulled out, which decides how thick the ends look once the wave falls. These wavy K tip extensions are Double Drawn.
