What is a long tape weft in black tape in hair extensions?

Standard tape-in comes as small separate tabs. A long tape weft is different: the hair is laid along one wide strip of polyurethane tape, so a single piece covers far more of the head. The stylist places it on a clean horizontal section, sandwiches the client's hair with a second strip or a single-sided tape, and presses it flat. Fewer pieces means a faster fitting and a smooth, even line along the back of the head.

This set is cut from raw donor hair in its own natural colour, #1B. It has never been dyed black or blended, so a few lighter or golden strands are normal and show the hair is untouched. At 20 inches (about 50 cm) it falls past the shoulders on most clients, which makes it the everyday length for natural, believable volume.
