Wholesale - direct from our Da Nang factory
Lace Closure
HD lace closures knotted one strand at a time, with no short hairs on the crown and baby hair placed to your reference photo. The closure is the part your client looks at in the mirror, so it is the part we build slowest.

Three grades, and how to pick
Same factory, same QC, same hair. The difference is how much hair is still there at the ends after a year of wear.
Entry
Double Drawn
Consistent through the mid-length and thinning naturally toward the ends, the way one head of hair does. The volume grade.
- Consistent thickness through the mid-length
- Best value per piece
- The volume grade for stock you resell
Best for: Stock you resell at volume and price-sensitive clients.
Standard
Super Double Drawn
What our distributors reorder most. Noticeably thicker at the ends, so the install still looks full at month six.
- Noticeably thicker at the ends
- Holds colour and shape longer
- The safest default for a new client
Best for: The standard salon install and reliable resale stock.
Premium
Super Premium
The thickest ends we produce. Built for hair that will be lifted, heat-styled or worn long term.
- Thickest ends we produce
- Survives lifting and heavy styling
- First choice for colour work
Best for: Colour work, premium clients and long lengths.
Not sure? Order one of Super Double Drawn and one of Super Premium in the same length and let your stylist feel the ends before you commit a full order.

- You sell bundles and need a matching parting piece
- Your clients want a middle or side part that reads as scalp

- You order 3 or more pieces at a time
Order something else if
- The client wants to style the hair off the face, order a frontal
- You want a finished unit, order a closure wig
- You need to part the hair anywhere, order full lace
Buying from Govihair vs buying from a trading company
Most suppliers you meet online do not own a factory, they forward your order to one. Here is what changes when you buy from the people who actually collect, make and QC the hair.
| What you are checking | Govihair | A trading company |
|---|---|---|
| Who you deal with | Our own sales team and our own factory in Da Nang | A middleman who forwards your order and marks it up |
| Where the hair comes from | Our collection network in northern and central Vietnam, cut from the donor | Whatever the workshop had in stock that week |
| Grade on the label | Double Drawn, Super Double Drawn or Super Premium, stated on every order | Vague wording that changes between batches |
| QC evidence | Video of the scrape, cuticle and elasticity checks on our own floor | Stock photos |
| Colour honesty | We tell you when a shade needs raw donor hair and when it cannot be lifted at all | Promises any colour on any hair |
| Weight policy | Weighed after washing and drying, ties weighed separately | Weighed wet or with the tie included |
| If an order is short | Photograph your scale and we replace the shortfall, no argument | Disputed, or you pay the difference |
| If the sample is wrong | We pay the return freight and replace or refund | Return freight is yours |
| Freight | Quoted to your exact city by DHL, UPS or FedEx, tracked door to door | A zone estimate that changes at checkout |
| Customs paperwork | Invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, phyto or fumigation where required | You find out what is missing at your port |
| Reorder | Same specification, same grade, matched to your last order | A different batch every time |
Colour: what we can do, and what nobody can
This is where most suppliers overpromise and where your client notices first. Colour options depend on the hair type, not on how much you pay.
| You want | What actually happens | Order it as |
|---|---|---|
| Natural black and dark brown | The donor colour, untouched. The most durable option and the base for everything else. | Natural colour |
| Dark shades | Dyed, not lifted. They hold well, but they cannot be brought back up to blonde later. | Dark colour |
| Light and neutral shades | A controlled lift on virgin hair. Predictable, and the right choice for most salon colour work. | Light colour |
| Blonde, 613, platinum, silver | A heavy lift that only raw donor hair survives without breaking down. We test the lift before shipping. | Raw donor hair for bleaching |
What we will not tell you: that dark hair bleaches to 613. If a supplier offers you dark hair and promises a clean platinum lift, that hair was dyed dark over lighter hair and it will break on the second pass. Two cap sizes have a length ceiling: 5×5 and 6×6 are made up to 24 inch. The smaller caps run the full range to 28 inch.

Lace Closure - wholesale FAQ
What length closure should I order with my bundles?
Two inches longer than the bundles. A closure cut to the same length sits short once it is installed and blended, and the join shows. This is the single most common ordering mistake we see.
Closure or frontal?
A closure covers the parting area, so it suits a client who wears a fixed middle or side part. A frontal runs ear to ear and lets the hair be pulled back off the face. If your client ties her hair up, order a frontal.
What is HD lace and is it worth it?
HD lace is thinner and finer, so it disappears against the scalp instead of sitting on it as a visible grey film. On darker skin tones the difference is obvious in photographs, which is where your clients judge the install.
What is the minimum order?
3 pieces per order, which you can split across lengths, textures and colours however you like. Wholesale pricing is sent on request once we know specification and destination.
Which grade should I order?
Double Drawn is the volume grade for stock you resell. Super Double Drawn is what most of our distributors reorder and the safest default. Super Premium has the thickest ends and is the first choice when the hair will be lifted or heavily styled. Order one of each in the same length and let your stylist feel the difference.
Can I lift it to 613 or platinum?
Only on raw donor hair, and we test the lift on the batch before we ship. Virgin hair goes to light and neutral shades reliably, but not to every blonde. Dark shades are dyed rather than lifted, so they do not come back up. We will tell you which of the three your order needs before you pay.
How do I know the weight is honest?
Everything is weighed after washing and drying, not before, and ties are weighed separately. Weigh what arrives on your own scale. If it is under, photograph the scale and send it to us and we replace the shortfall.
How long does shipping take?
3-5 working days on the express service, or 5-9 working days on the economy service, tracked door to door by DHL, UPS or FedEx. Prices are ex-works, so freight is quoted separately to your exact city by weight, not estimated from a zone chart.
What if the order does not match what you described?
Send us the photos and send it back. We pay the return freight and either replace it or refund it. We would rather lose one sample order than have you sell something you do not trust to your own clients.
Do you supply paperwork for customs?
Yes: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and phytosanitary or fumigation documents where your customs authority requires them. Tell us the destination country with your quote request and we list exactly what your shipment needs.
Order 3 pieces to start
Three closures let you test the lace, the knotting and the baby hair placement across different cap sizes before you stock a range.
Experience Natural Beauty with 100% Human Hair Lace Closures
A lace closure is one of the most popular hair solutions for women who want a flawless, protective, and natural-looking hairstyle without leaving out their own hair. Whether you wear sew-in weaves or wigs, closures offer a smooth and undetectable finish. In this guide, you’ll learn what lace closures are, their advantages, limitations, and why many hairstylists and wig makers trust them for long-lasting beauty.
What Is a Lace Closure and How Does It Work?
Before choosing the right closure, it helps to understand how it functions and why it’s essential to many hair extension styles.
Common Sizes and Lace Types
A lace closure is a small hairpiece made with lace at the base and human hair hand-tied into the lace to mimic a natural scalp. The most common sizes are 4×4, 5×5, and 6×6 inches. These pieces are placed at the top or side of the head during sew-in or wig construction to close off the installation.
Closures also come in different lace materials:
- Swiss lace - soft and natural-looking
- Transparent lace - great for lighter skin tones
- HD lace - ultra-thin for a nearly invisible hairline

Lace Closure vs Lace Frontal
Closures are often compared to frontals, but each serves a different purpose. A closure covers a smaller area and is perfect for middle or side part styles. A frontal, however, stretches from ear to ear and offers full hairline coverage for more styling freedom. If you’re exploring both options, you’ll often find them sold as bold human hair lace frontals and closures sets for wig or weave making.

Benefits and Limitations of Lace Closures
Lace closures are popular due to their natural finish and simple maintenance. Let’s explore why people love them and where they fall short.
Advantages
Closures are a top choice for beginners and professionals because:
- They blend seamlessly with hair bundles
- Require little daily styling
- Protect natural hair from heat and tension
- Offer a clean and realistic part line
- Last longer than frontals due to low maintenance
Disadvantages
Despite their many perks, closures also have limitations:
- They don’t cover the full hairline
- Less styling freedom than frontals
- Harder to create ponytails or updos
- Incorrect installation can lead to bumps or gaps
Who Should Use Lace Closures?
You should consider a closure if:
- You want a realistic look without leaving out your natural hair
- You prefer low-maintenance installs
- You want to protect your natural hair or growing edges
- You’re not interested in daily lace melting or gluing like with frontals
Closures are especially ideal for working women, students, first-time wig wearers, and anyone who wants a neat, natural, and protective hairstyle.

How to Choose High-Quality Lace Closures
The quality of your closure will impact how your hairstyle looks and lasts. Here’s what to look for when buying one.
Lace Type and Density
Choose soft, breathable lace that matches your skin tone. HD lace offers the most realistic finish, while Swiss lace is more durable. Hair density should look natural, so too thick means fake, and too thin exposes the lace.
Hair Material (Virgin, Remy, Synthetic)
The best closures are made from virgin or Remy human hair. Synthetic closures are cheaper but tangle, shed, and cannot handle heat styling well. Premium closures blend seamlessly and match bold lace frontals and closures for full wig construction.

FAQs
1. How long does a lace closure last?
A lace closure can last anywhere from three to six months with regular wear, and up to a year or more when used in a wig and cared for correctly. The lifespan depends on the quality of the lace and hair, as well as your maintenance routine. Closures made from 100% human hair will always last longer.
2. Can I dye or bleach my lace closure?
Yes, you can dye or bleach a lace closure if it is made from real human hair. It’s best to test the color on a small section first. If you plan to bleach the knots, do it carefully to avoid weakening the lace.
3. Is a lace closure easy to maintain?
Yes, lace closures are low-maintenance compared to frontals, which makes them ideal for beginners. To keep them looking natural, cleanse them regularly, avoid heavy hair products, and gently detangle from ends to roots.
4. Can I reuse a lace closure?
Absolutely. A lace closure can be reused multiple times if maintained properly and removed carefully after each install. Closures installed with sewing tend to last longer than those glued down because the lace remains cleaner and intact.
5. Can I style a closure like my own hair?
Yes, if your closure is made from human hair, it can be straightened, curled, or styled using heat tools just like your natural hair. However, styling should be done with care to avoid long-term damage.
A lace closure is a fantastic choice if you want a polished, natural-looking hairstyle without exposing your real hair. It offers a protective, easy-to-maintain solution and works beautifully with sew-ins and wigs. If you’re looking for quality, long-lasting closures, choose 100% human hair from a trusted supplier like Govihair to ensure a flawless finish every time.
