What are genius weft hair extensions?

Ultra-thin human hair wefts with no folded top and no return hair. Ours are sewn with two fine stitch lines and sealed with a liquid glue line, so they lie flat and can be cut without shedding.

Genius weft vs hand tied vs machine weft: what is the difference?

A machine weft folds the hair over a thick band and unravels if cut. A hand-tied weft is thin but cannot be cut. A genius weft is as flat as hand-tied and can be cut anywhere.

Are genius weft extensions good?

Yes, for salons with trained stylists. They are flat, light and comfortable on fine hair. The trade-offs: a skilled install, a higher price per 100g than machine wefts, and no home use.

How long do genius weft extensions last?

With good care, the hair itself lasts about 3-5 years for raw donor hair and 2-3 years for raw 2-4 donor hair. Virgin hair lasts 1-2 years. Rows are usually moved up every 6 to 8 weeks as the client's hair grows.

How much do genius wefts cost?

Our 2026 retail price runs from $52.69 per 100g (8 inch natural black) to $225.39 per 100g (30 inch white blonde), Double Drawn. Wholesale orders from 500g get factory prices.

What is the difference between 1mm, 1.5mm and 2.5mm genius weft?

The number is the distance between the two stitch lines. 1mm and 1.5mm are the finest, for thin hair; 2.5mm holds strongest and is our best seller. All three cost the same.

Why are blonde genius wefts more expensive?

They need our cleanest raw donor hair, and more of it. We use about 120g of raw hair per 100g of #613 and 125g for platinum, against 100g for #1.

Can you match my colour exactly?

We match your photo or colour ring with over 90% accuracy. Each shade is coloured by hand with its own formula, so a 100% match is not possible.
